Description

This assessment has evaluated the needs and capacity of journalists in promoting social cohesion in South Sudan using the concepts of pluralism as a framework that includes belonging and recognition on both structural and individual levels of institutional policies and practices as well as social and individual mindsets and behaviors. The assessment attempts to explore journalists' education and professional background, understanding, and competencies on the relevant topics of the training, facilitation, and adult learning needs and methods, challenges, and interests related to the themes within pluralism and the role of media in promoting social cohesion in society.
